At operating temps when it's reading the knock sensor (KS), it's getting a bad reading and thus retarding the ignition timing. Bad ignition timing can rob a LOT of power on any engine. I have replaced darn near everything else that didn't test good. The knock sensor seems to test good, but I think it's a sporadic problem. I will replace it as soon as I pay off my car (only a couple hundred away!)
